Mystery Grab Bag, Hand-dyed Yarn, Wool Yarn, Lace / Fingering / Worsted / Bulky- 100g skeins

from $12.00

These Mystery Grab Bags are a great way to grab some hand-dyed yarn at a discounted rate and get a lovely surprise in the mail! The yarns may be speckled, variegated, gradients, tonal, or solids. If you take a look through the shop, you'll get a sense of my dye style and a sense of what you may receive in the mystery grab bag! These grab bags are limited in quantity, as I only put them together when I'm cleaning out colorways that have only 1 skein remaining, or colors / bases that are discontinued. For this reason, you can get a mystery skein at a seriously discounted price! If you order multiple mystery grab bags, I'll do my best to coordinate the colors for you but cannot guarantee it since quantities are limited.

The skeins shown in the photo are just a few examples of the types of yarn you could receive and are not necessarily the colorways included in the mystery grab bags.

If you like surprises and adding to your stash of yarn, give it a try!

The yardage per skein may vary slightly based on the bases, but the general guidelines for my bases are as follows:

Most Frequent Yarn Content:
These yarns are from various wool bases, although my most frequent wool is merino. The yarn base is part of the mystery with these grab bags!

Care Instructions:
Although all yarns are rinsed after dyeing to remove any excess dyes, I still recommend washing your finished product separately the first time you wash it. Hand wash gently with mild soap in cold water, without agitating the water to avoid felting. Lay flat to dry. Some yarn bases are superwash, meaning they will not felt; in these cases you can use the washing machine to wash your garment, but hand-washing will result in greater longevity for your yarn. It is not recommended to put your garments in the dryer, even if they are made with superwash yarn.
