Onyx - Hand-dyed Yarn, Bulky Yarn, Chunky Yarn, Wool Yarn, Black - Single Ply - Superwash Merino/Nylon – 100g

$25.00
Only 3 left in stock

This luxurious mill-spun yarn has been hand-dyed a deep tonal black. This is a true black using professional dyes, and not a black that looks like purple in bright light the way food coloring and other dyes may look.

Please note this colorway is tonal, which means there are some spots that appear a very dark smokey gray because of the way the yarn absorbed the dye.

Yarn Base:

Bulky Single Ply
80% Superwash Merino / 20% Nylon
76 yards / 100g skein

Due to the dye method used to create the tonal appearance, there will be slight differences in the way each skein takes up the dye. In order to minimize visual differences in your finished product, you may also alternate skeins every 2nd or 3rd row, but this is optional.

If you would like a larger quantity of yarn in this colorway, or perhaps this colorway on a different yarn base, please contact me for a custom order and I’d be happy to work with you to meet your needs.

**I do my best to accurately display the colors used in my yarn. However, the colors may vary slightly from one computer screen to another depending on the settings.**

Care Instructions:
Although all yarns are rinsed after dyeing to remove any excess dyes, I still recommend washing your finished product separately the first time you wash it. Although this is superwash wool, which can be machine washed, it should not be put through the dryer; reshape your garment and lay flat to dry. Although handwashing is not required, doing so can extend the life of your garment.
